I'm on the latest nougat update.. The other person is barely able to hear me. I thought this issue is with z5 series only but i guess xz is also affected by it.
Can you please go to Settings > About Phone > Diagnostics > Test and test the microphone?
This way we can see if it is the microphone or something else causing the issue.
Hmm, OK. Are you able to try another SIM card in your phone? Sometimes damages to SIM cards can affect the call quality.
I can't really test that... But it's a new SIM .. Not damaged i can say that.. Visually also it's good no damage
Because the microphone appears to be fine, and it is only happening on calls, I recommend you double check with your network first for any network failures in your location.
Other than that, contact your Local support team to have your device assessed.
ok i got the chance to try different sims and the resuults are same ... the other person complaints that my voice is very low ...and this has been reported by 3-4 ppl already ... please help
