How to wipe partition cache?

Hello, I was wondering how I can go to fastboot via the phone to perform a cache wipe and format?

as @IA64 said, it won't improve performance. cache is used by apps to store things that take a long time to load (or that is being used frequently). removing it means that the apps will have to load all those things again, so it'll actually make them slower the first time you launch them.

There is a detailed thread on xda-dev

Don't unlock the bootloader unless you want to throw the device. There is no DRM fix.

Can you give me the link?

You're playing with fire; the device is fairly new and I'm not responsible for your ( very soon ) bricked device.

why do you need to wipe cache partition in the first place?

This was at ASUS's way of speeding the device, what meant was to go to fastboot menu, you know, that menu with menu about wiping the storage, partition, etc

That doesn't really speed up the device, it's a common myth unless you're planning to flash a custom ROM
