fm radio?

hello there. very important to me for a maybe-upgrade from x performance...will the XZs have FM radio again?

I've been reading white papers about it and apparently the fm radio is not mentioned as a feature

I also noticed it, but I've watched dozens of other XZs videos and the one from Recombu is the only one with the FM radio. So it looks like the XZs won't have FM radio... Very sad, as it's a feature that a lot of people want, and the phone is more than capable of having it.

Looks like my current Z3+ will be my last Sony. I do own a Walkman but it's easier to listen from a pair of earphones and answer calls​ from the same​ one than digging your phone inside a handbag trying to answer a call in a crowded train.

Can someone please confirm whether it has FM radio or not? Some websites here have listed it on the specs sheet and the video that Georgge posted also showed a working unit with FM radio. Can someone clarify this? I would love to get this phone, especially for its awesome camera, but no FM is a dealbreaker for me.

Hello, I'm typing this from my XZs but I'm not sure how this Fm works, I downloaded some radio apps but they won't work without WiFi even when I have my headphones plugged in, is that how I'm supposed to check?

So that means that there will be no pre-installed FM radio app... Thanks Sony...

I'm quite sure that it won't work with Nougat, but maybe you can try it Nootje?

So sad there´s no FM-reciver in XZs.

I like this phone any really want to buy it but a built in FM-reciver is a must for me.

Have to stick with my X that has FM-radio and even with RDS.

Please Sony, don´t skip FM-radio in your phones. You were the best alternative for me before because you had FM-radio in most your models but now it is in fewer and fewer models.

Sony has disabled the FM receiver on XZ, I guess it'll be the same on XZS. Too bad then, I love the voice clarity on Sony, it's the best for me but I guess that's about it. I'll just keep my Z3+ while it lasts.
