Copy to clipboard option missing!

Hi, I need to copy pictures quite often and until now, clicking on the image and clicking on the "share" option gave me the opportunity to copy it to clipboard (where I then could paste it in the whatever application).

This option is missing! How am going to copy images / pictures now?

The "share" button only gives you the latest contacts, Facebook, WA and the usual options Email, Gmail etc.

But I need that clipboard option....

I have a third party file explorer installed. I use X-plore = https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lonelycatgames.Xplore&hl=en

When I click on a picture and choose the share icon my file explorer becomes one of the choices and allows me to do a copy-to. Maybe this will help???

it's the first time I'm reading about such feature. where did you use to see that option?

I will have to look into that, but then u need to have the file name or does the Explorer also shows you thumbnails?

yeah but where exactly? a file manager? an album app?

In the Album app, but it seems as this option is no longer available. I tried with a file manager, but that doesn't work. Also tried some clipboard apps, with no success either.

So basically it's not possible to copy a picture into a word document for instance.

Searching on the net results in many missing that option but there doesn't seem to be a real work-around. Seems to be a Google issue.
