Compatible chargers for XZ? - USB Power Delivery & Quickcharge 3 with QNOVO - Chrome 60W Charger

Super excited as I just got a new XZ and one of my favorite features is the first-for-Sony USB C charging port. Though, I'm a bit confused by the charging options. My phone is charging super duper slowly, but it's staying cold; so I take it that means all the new charging features to extend battery life is in effect. I do have Battery Care enabled, despite having a consistently-inconsistent sleep schedule.

I have a Chrome 60W charger from my Pixel that seems to charge the phone pretty slowly. This is what it looks like and here's the Google Store page with all its details.

So a few questions…

• Is my phone ok? Should it be charging faster with the Chrome charger?
• Does the XZ support USB C Power Delivery? As specified by the Chrome 60W charger page
• What should I look for when buying a new USB C cable and AC adapter? Only QC3 support? Or Power Delivery adapters?

Its a new device, it will learn your habits, it will charge slowly in the first few days, once it fully understands your habit of usage/charging, everything will be normal. My phone charges from 20%-75% in less than 30 minutes now, in the start, it took almost an hour for the same. Do not worry, it will learn you and then adjust accordingly !

hey Hunaid786 how many times learn habit of usage/charging and charging always same it means example- charge on monday evening 6:04 PM and next day also charge 6:04 PM

Thanks. I started doing some more research. Looks like the phone does not support Power Delivery and the UCH12 is the adapter to use—which is also not available. The US plug is nowhere to be found on Sony's website, Amazon, Ebay, or Google Shopping…

Kinda feel jipped—but that's the current state of Sony Mobile in the US.

@einekesome users have imported their accessories from Sony Europe. or Ebay EU. maybe you could try if there retailers offering to import to US?

In china they provide TRONSMART quickcharger 3.0 18W with US plug found on ebay. Hope it helps you out

Thanks. I know there's a bunch of 3rd party ones on Amazon… but I'm a bit hesitant to order from those unknown brands. I'll definitely look that one up.
