I was wondering if anyone else is having this issue. Clicking on certain notifications does not bring up the app. Google search app notifications, and a few other apps (non Google apps) don't work, for example. Clicking on them just removes the notification but does not bring up the app or anything elsebeyond that. On the other hand, some apps like the texting app, phone app, etc. still work; the app launches properly when clicking the notification, quick reply works, etc.
Is anyone else having this issue? Thanks.
Edit: I've restarted the phone many times, switched back to the default launcher, and have no icon packs installed incase any of those things matter.

Okay, so I actually managed to solve this issue! I removed Nova Launcher and set Xperia Home as default again, I also removed an icon pack that I had installed and reenabled 2 system apps that I had disabled previously ("Backup & Restore", and "Basic Sleep Mode Apps"). I have no idea which of these thigs was responsible for causing the issue, but I'm updating just in case this helps anyone in the future. To be clear, both apps that I had an issue with before now work properly. Google notifications properly bring up the relevant section of the app when clicked again.
Now, if only Sony would add native app shortcuts totheir launcher, I'd have no need for other launchers to begin with.
I'm fairly certain that for someone to offer any help you will need to state exactly which apps you are talking about so they can be tested.
Like I said, the Google Search app is the biggest culprit. For example, the notification it brings up about the current temperature or "it'll be X degrees warmer tomorrow" etc.; clicking those dpes nothimg but clear the notification. It's supposed to actually open the Google search app. Another app I noticed the issue with is the Piper home security app; clicking the "door opened" notification does not bring up the app like it's supposed to. Other apps, lile texting, phone, Google Inbox, etc. all work fine.
