Brand new phone supplied with wrong usb cable in the box. Can't charge or sync

Just received my brand new XZ Premium supplied by Three UK. Problem being once I unboxed the battered box I found the usb cable supplied was a micro usb and not a USB type C.

Has anyone else had this ? I'm furious as it was sealed with 2x silver ( Void ) tabs and the IMEI numbers match.  Phone life was at zero but I just keep thinking I've been sent a referb phone. 

Does a new phone have protective films on the front AND back ?

Three have said they are sending me a new cable and power supply ( which will take them at leat 3 days to get to me ) but I cannot take the phone to the 3 store ( 1 mile away ) to get a replacement phone. Bizzare and frankly ruined the new phone experience !

Different retailers will package the phone differently from one another so I can not say exactly what should have been included in the box from the retailer you purchased it.

Hopefully, once you get it charged up you will have a great experience with your new XZ Premium. Good luck!
