480fps slow motion

Does anyone know if the camera hardware is capable of 480fps continuous and if it is, will this be a function in future software updates, 960fps is a  good gimic but is a bit useless as it is so difficult to use it in practical situations, a continuous 480fps will make me a happy owner if this is possible in the future.

This would be interesting to see, even if it could record for twice as long that would be nice.

You can do 120 fps in HD but not more - I don't think there is possibility to go above that because you would need some memory where you can save (write) fast enough.

(the XZP camera shutter is extremely fast and propably could do a whole lot more then just 960 fps)

I really would like them to implement a lower resolution but longer recording time.

Anything under 720p would be unusuable to me.

I would like to see 480fps but 1080p, and 60fps for 4K.
It should be possible, 960 fps in 720p should = 480 fps in 1080p.

Not exactly you could propably do something like 360 fps in full HD for about 0.2 seconds which would stretch a 0.2 seconds sequence to 2.4 seconds I think thats not really satisfying for anyone.

As it is we get about 5 seconds of video out of 0.2 seconds which is already just enough to not be disappointing.

Really the only thing to get anything more out of it would be cracking the resultion down to caputre a longer sequence - and that would also be unsatisfying for most people because who watches 360p or 480? (but would work much better for technical applications).

Some of the other phones on the market like the iPhone and samsungs can do 240fps continuous, albeit its a lower resolution, but I would have thought this phone with a great camera and fast processor would surely be able to equal that, I use my phone for fault finding high speed machines but not ultra fast machines so I'm hoping future updates will enable this phone to do at least 240fps and hopefully 480fps as it would save me having to carry two phones around with me, fingers crossed.
