Z2, Lollipop update, awful, problems.

I just updated to Lollipop 5.0 (finally), and now.. the phone is just awful and gives me a headache. It's laggy, it gets stuck, it's slow. I can't find my messages, and I can't even access messages. Can't send or receive, can suddenly get stuck and then get lost in the background (the background only shoves with the colours that change), and it turns off by itself, starts by itself, get message notifications randomly, gets so warm you could probably boil an egg on it.

To sum it up; it's catastrophic. I don't really know what to do, it's just sooooo annoying. Anyone, please help?

Hi, since upgrading to lollipop 5.0.2 my calls are a pain. After about 5 secs I can't hear who I'm talking to, then it returns, then goes again. Anyone else have this problem

Im currently on. 726 firmware (lollipop) and the speaker volume is greatly reduced. You can barely hear anything from 50% below. And even at max, it is only as loud as 50% on kit kat 4.4.4. This is really frustrating As one of the reason i bought this phone is for the loud 3d sound the speakers used to have! Please fixxxx!!

After updating to lollipop the volume output became extremely low. You can barely hear anything from 50% downwards and significant volume incrementation starts at 75% onwards. But even at max, it is still way too low compared to 4.4.4. The 100% volume on lollipop is only equivalent to 50% in 4.4.4. People on xda also confirmed this. So frustrating. I hope this get a quick fix soon cause i love the new ui feel of the update.

I have been trying to update using PCC for several weeks abd still no success. Even tried the alternative holding the power and volume up button.. Doest even work or do anything.

But will all the negative comments and issues after updating, it think it is best not to update. At keast until Sony comes up with a better update or solution. As I said, even if I wanted to, the update on PCC doesnt work. It stops and doesnt do anything except to turn off my phone and waited for several minutes to half an hour with no results.also do not see a REPAIR option on my PCC.

Anyway, I hope to hear from Xperiacare or anyone about a solution and that the update is stable. A lot of complaints on power or voume buttons not functioning, call quality, charging problems, etc. etc. Makes me think it is not worth all the hassle.

And BTW, some updates in the past disabled my front camera like what I have now. Sometimes the camera works again after an update. Weird but it is frustrating. Not to mention the embarassment from friends and family that insisted I switch to iPhone or another Android phone. I was amazed at the specs of the Z2, but never felt it was really better than my old Samsung. Sorry, I love this phone for its other features, but it just has too many bugs and updates are painfull. This should be made easy.

After updating to lollipop I now have a constant message popping up saying exchange services not working, my emails are not updating and the phone is almost impossible to use any ideas

Tried clearing data of email app in settings, or system repair with PC Companion?
That should solve most common problems after update.

Do not mark all the contacts. Import/export option will not appear. Immediately do export. Then the option to save it to sim will appear. Now what I do is save it on SD card. another option of saving.

I facing a different problem after lollipop update I cannot hear the sound of music as before it's too slow and that to music is played from hearing speaker not through load speaker..plz help me out

Hi guys, after updating to 5.0.2. I can say that I really like the new interface, it's smooth, fast and the design is amazing. The only problems I've faced so far are the lower volume quality, the battery drains a little faster and the biggest bug I've found is that of @christianliongson My walkman searchbar isn't searching properly.. f.e. I have the song Only, no album or artist is named only just the song and if I search for that song in the search bar it says no songs were found and the same when searching for albums or artists. I've tried clearing the cache, data, force stopping walkman and restarting the phone, but still no improvement. Also my camera app is laggy.. is anyone else facing these problems?
