Xperia Devices seem to be picky about headset, can you check the specification of the headset?

If you have already tried the previous tips suggested in this thread it is most likely related to hardware I'm afraid. In that case I suggest that you either contact your retailer or Local support in order to find out how to send your phone to an authorized service center.
