I just bought my Xperia Z3+ yesterday, and i noticed the battery drained fairly quickly. I have only charged it 3 times now, and everytime i charged till 100%. The battery drained 40% with 1.5 hours of use, and i used stamina mode, airplane mode, and hardly have any apps. I also disabled the google app, maps, and google+. Do i need to go to a sony center to get it checked or will the battery improve overtime. ps: Brightness is always on minimum.
we need more info,
try to charge your phone up to 100%
use it normally as you would
when at 10% take screenshot of the battery usage screen and the expanded graph
post it here, so we can tell what apps are draining the battery
remember though, newly bought devices tend not to have the full battery capacity, ie. it might take a while before the device calibrates the battery etc, to your usage.
Hey @Bobby_Joe,
I'll put it into steps here below, simply follow them and you should be good to go.
- First, just as @nolramlb said, charge your device to 100%, then use it normally down to a low percentage (about 10%).
- Now go in to Settings > Battery usage > Press and hold your power button until a menu appears > Take screenshot. Press the graph at the top and take another screenshot using the same method.
- These should now be stored on your device under Internal storage > Pictures > Screenshots, connect your phone to a computer and transfer the photos (instructions vary depending on operative system, but usually simply open your file browser and locate the device).
- Once you have the photos saved to your computer, reply to this thread and press the image icon in the reply options:
Browse for the files and post them.
Let me know how the battery usage looks and I'll take a look at it!
