Stuck in a bootloop

Before watching a movie yesterday I have turned off my phone, and when I turned it back on, it kept restarting and shutting off by itself. After 2-3 seconds following the regular Sony logo and waterproof warning, when it reaches my lock screen, it freezes one second and shuts off, and restarts the continuous loop. I've tried the soft reset (vol up key+ power) and shutting it off manually (which it doesn't go through all the way). And I believe my phone would not be on long enough to connect to my PC. After some research I have found that this has also happened to others, and I was hoping that there was a solution that doesn't involve hard resetting or the loss of important data stored in my internal memory.
I dont know if this is related to my current problem but I've noticed that apps and music would not transfer to my sim card (it registers that a sim card was inserted but just case l have taken it out and put it back).

@miku7

remove both SIM and Sd cards and check again, don't assume that other's have the same issue as you.

Did you solve this problem? My phone has been stuck in a loop when turning on, seems like it might be related to an upgrade or something as occasionally it mentions "optimising update xxx of xxx" or similar, seems to finish this , and repeat getting stuck on the sony welcome screen / blue wavy screen. annoying!

That is one of the things that happened to me too. It is safe to assume that you have the sudden death issue as everyone on this thread:

/t5/Xperia-Z3-Compact/Sudden-Death-of-Sony-xperia-Z3-Compact/m-p/889171#U889171

If your phone were not a sony xperia z3 compact, then we souldn't assume that you have the same issue. But it is, so it makes more sense to arrive at that conclusion. Otherwise, we could think that thousands of z3c have thousands of different issues that end in sudden death, and that would be even worse. Not looking at anyone in this thread.
