Sim wont go in

I've recently purchased a Sony xperia T3 but the sim card won't go in it keeps popping out.  I have tried everything, pushing in hard with nail, credit card but there is no click and it won't go in. Any ideas?

Are you using a micro SIM card?

Yes and I've checked and triple checked and I'm putting it in the right way 🙂

Yes I've tried 3 in total
