Hello people.
I'm having a issue with my Xperia M4 Aqua. It keeps telling me error ''SD Card unexpectedly removed''. I currently have 32GB Samsung Evo SD card but I have tried 16GB Kingston and 8GB Kingston card too, still error.
Yes, my phone is up to date, yes I've already tried the factory reset two times now, still not working, no I haven't root my device yet and of course I've tried other SD cards (3 cards).
My cousin has exactly same phone, even the color is same and we both have exactly same 32GB SD card, because he bought one for me and one for himself, but he's not getting any SD card errors.
I'm not sure but..... well basically I removed the white plastic paper clip from the SD Card slot instantly after unboxing my phone because I thought it was the same paper thingy like toys have it in the battery slot, I thought that I had to remove it in order to insert my SD card, but it cant be the reason I'm getting the error. I'm going to take this phone back to the shop, I still got the warranty but I still want to try some fixes by myself.
Please help me, I'm very sad
(Sorry for bad English)
Best thing to do is take it back - the item you removed could have or could make the difference in fitting and keeping the pins in contact
I am recieving difficulty with this issue also. I am now having trouble with photos as well, I was out for the day yesterday with familly and took alot of photos, the photos i had taken laterly i can access but the earlier ones i cannot view. The screen is black with a twin peaked symbol. I would appreciate any help with this thanks.
Hi Marexman, yeah I'm also experiencing the same thing, SD card popping out, flipping annoying. With reference to the white tag inserted next to the SD slot,, if you look very carefully it has its own compartment next door, so doesn't affect the SD slot. I think the white card contains techie info about the phone so the techies can understand the make, model etc. But it's annoying about the SD card. Let's hope Mr Sony can come up with some kind of explanation to remedy the problem, or even better reimburse us with a new phone.. (pigs might fly) you never know? All the best from Wally.
