screen blackout

This phone seems to be racking up the problems after about a month of use....

All of a sudden, whenever i phone someone or get an incoming call, when i call/ accept phone call, the screen locks and goes black but the call is still being made/ i'm still able to talk to the person on the other end but when i press the power button the screen does nothing for about a minute then it goes back to normal

Would really appreciate if Sony actually does something about this as the last complaint about duplicated photos from about 2 weeks ago still has no update! And stop sending me email's about my status as 'newbie' or 'first time poster'.....i don't care, i want solutions for these constant mounting problems

oh, and when i hold down the power button (trying to turn it off) when it is like this, all i get is a tiny vibration then back to nothing. The main problem with this is that, if i ring someone and they don't answer, i can't hang up when it goes to their answer machine

It's sounds like a memory or CPU usage problem and so the phone have a lot time to respond...

What is the firmware version installed?

Have you tried to reset device or look at memory\CPU usage?

I don't know how to find what firmware i have, no i haven't tried resetting it, it's only been 1-2 months i shouldn't have to reset and lose everything already....

Go to settings, last voice is telephone info and here you can read Android version and Build release (the last voice).
