Overheating causes battery problems

So, after more than a year of being an owner of Sony Xperia Z3 I'm a bit disappointed. Headphone port stopped working after six months of usage and the only thing xperia's support could offer is taking it and sending from Vladivostok all the way to Moscow for couple weeks. OFC I decided not to do that.
But now I got another problem. I think everyone here know about xperia's overheaeting issues. But recently I noticed that it causes severe battery problems - to the point where an overheated device will keep losing its charge while being charged. Any way to deal with that problem?

The phone won't overheat, it will shutdown if it gets too hot, and the hotter an electronic gets the faster the battery will drain, if your phone it's connected to a wall charger and it's losing charge then you are probably running a lot of heavy apps and games, and that will be the same with other phones. Test your phone in safe mode

All good android devices have a functionality called thermal protection, once you get your device super hot (due heavy usage) you won't be able to charge your device because of said protection. You don't want the battery to inflate and explode, right? It's easy. Wait until the device cool down and then plug it to charger: it will magically start to charge the battery.

Then, if uliwooly is right and you have lot of background processes or heavy apps running it won't help to connect the charger. The device will draw more energy than the one that a charger can provide to the battery and eventually your phone will shut off - and this is really normal.

it happens when the phone is just overheated and no apps running. If I cool it off a little bit everyrhing works fine.
