Google Play services batterydrain

I recently reset then reinstalled marshmallow. But Google services is constantly my largest battery drain. This is why I did the reinstall. I've googled it to death loads of old issues but nothing that's helped. Any suggestions?

Thanks Mike

Hi @M11k,

Sorry to hear that.

Approximately how long does your battery last?

Discharge your phone to about when 15% remain and check under Settings > Battery usage. Here you can also press the diagram for more detailed information. Could you return with screenshots of your battery usage?

By reinstall, do you mean a software repair using Xperia Companion?

Thanks for the reply, I did a reset on the phone, then yes a repair via companion. I can't see a way of adding a screen shot to this chat, I'm on my mobile do I need full version? It's lasting around 12 hours. I'll take a picture later when it's flat. Cheers

I tried I only have my phone with me, when I add the picture it doesn't let me scroll across to the send button lol. I'll have to send it to myself and try of the computer later.

@Mike78, if you're using the preinstalled browser (Chrome) press the three lines in the top right corner and mark the checkbox "Request desktop site". You should then be able to send us an attachment Slightly_smiling_Face

Please keep me posted.

Yes I'm on the full desktop site , but once you add a picture it fills the screen, won't let you pinch zoom out to send button.

Little trick,
Once posted image, press return key, it should throw the screen to the left allowing to see the post button...
If not, wait 30 seconds for the auto save, click refresh then click on load in the grey banner.

Found a slightly different work around, add the picture. Press home, then reopen chrome, came back zoomed out!! Maybe this is something that could be added to that mobile site??

This is how it looks currently. But I will add one later as you stated.

Thanks for any support.
