Camera and voice recorder doesn't work

Video camera and voice recorder won't work, all applications like Skype or tango won't work, they said to go to the settings, app, all apps,and clear cache data on camera, I did it, but nothing,Pc companion = nothing, can someone helps me please, cuz Sony killing me....

That's odd, skype work just fine with my Xperia Z, are you downloading apps from the play store? also keep in mind that any app acting up or not working its up to the app developer to address no Sony.

Thanks for the reply, but you have to know that I can make photos not videos, it always displays ( unknown error) when I pressed the record button, can you help Me please

Try this

settings > apps > all > camera > clear everything > try again

Where are you saving the pictures/videos?

Videos on the sd card, pictures on the internal storage

try to save the videos on the internal storage and see if you get the same error

I am giving the same exact problem.  And from what I can gather it started after I updated the Sony operating system.

You can try clearing the camera app data. From your Home screen:

1. Tap the Application screen icon.
2. Find and tap Settings -> Apps.
3. Swipe to the All tab.
4. Find and tap on the camera app.
5. Tap Force stop -> Clear data.
6. Restart the phone.
