Hi,
Has anyone else noticed an issue with the build quality of the phone?
I have only had my phone just over a month and already i have suffered a cracked screen and since it's been repaired the frame of the phone is now twisting.
Noticed this more recently when the charge flap kept coming out every 30 seconds or so. Since then the screen and the back plate are now begining to lift away from the body of the phone. This is also causing issues when trying to type due to the screen lift.
I don't appear to be having much luck with this model at all!
Hi, if all these things have happened since the repair to your screen instead of putting up with it & posting on here i would be straight back to where/whoever repaired it or failing that your nearest Xperia Care Centre:smileyshocked:
Out of interest.....could you tell me how you carry your Z2 around when you are out & about ie in your front/back trouser pockets etc
Cheers :smileysmileywink:

You should've returned it for incorrect repair/neglegance.
The caracked screen is due to the presence of NO gaps
Phone is always in a Case Mate Tough and i tend to carry it about in my front jeans/trouser pocket.
It's back in for repair so will see how that goes... was just getting frustrated with it more because when trying to type it was missing keys out then i noticed the movement!
I've had a Sony Z....Z1 & now a Z2......even tho i have had every phone in a case i would NEVER carry it around in my jeans pockets front or back.....simply because of the design/size of the phones.....no matter how careful you are any type of 'flexing' of the phone could result in stress on the glass or frame.....just my opinion :smileysmileywink:

I've never put my Z2 in jeans pockets or front trouser pockets. I know I haven't because I haven't worn jeans since Feb and I got the phone in June. I moved to South East Asia and it's too hot here for jeans. I usually wear shorts with big(ish) side pockets that wouldn't cause any flexing to the phone's frame and it still cracked. Also I've said it before and will say it again. It's a mobile phone, I.e. It's designed to move around with you. If it can't go in pockets due to it flexing that's a serious design flaw.
As i said.....my opinion
