I can't say for certain because I've never done it but I know people on this forum have successfully achieved flashing the new update no problem. If you look back on this thread and others, you can see what other people have used. There are tutorials lurking about too but you'll have to search for them.

Lots of people have asked questions such as yours on the forum, I'm sure you can find something. 🙂

Has anyone also problem with less clarity in pictures since update 205?

I'm not sure if any of you remember, but Sony released a terrible update for a version of its software, which rendered the phone insanely laggy and unstable....

But is this "current" one (12.1.A.1.205) stable? Has people been experiencing as big problems as there was before the old update?

This is because after updating to the older version, I tried to fix it myself, but ended up bricking the device, and I ended up having to buy a completely new device all together, and since then, I have not touched the update at all, out of fear it will update me again to the terrible buggy version...

can someone clarify to me that 12.1.A.1.205 is a newer, bug-free version of the updated software? Has people been experineceing any problems with this software at all?

Personally, I've not had any major issues and I'm pleased with the update. I didn't receive any of the other 4.3 updates so can't compare it to those. I'm sure there are still some small bugs but my phone works perfectly. Other users may be able to shed some light on specific apps. I have no issues with Outlook mail, yahoo mail, or twitter app.

After the 266 update i've dicide to rollback to the previous version. No problems with 4.1.2 at all. I think i'll stick with it for now.
