Not up to date

Hey guys I have a small problem and I need help.

I have xperia e and I saw today there is a new update for my phone. My friend bought the same phone today and we connected it to my laptop and it found the update. We where able to update his phone. When I connected my phone it says that I have the latest updated but I have 11.3.a.2.23. I tried repairing my phone but it is still 11.3.a.2.23

Excuse me for my english and I hope someone can help me.

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

Might be something wrong with the phones internal update engine. Does it still say update available when you repaired the phone?

Everytime I connect my phone to my laptop PC companion says that my phone/tablet is up to date but my phones build number is 11.3.A.2.23 which is not the latest version. I also repaired twice my phone but it is still 11.3.A.2.23.

The moment the new firmware comes available seems to depend on your country. I saw the first announcement of firmware 11.3.A.2.33 on this forum, and PC Companion still told me during a few weeks that I was "up-to-date" with my old firmware. Then after this time the new version suddenly became available. I guess you have to be patient

The problem is that my friend ( who leaves near me ) bought the same phone and he was able to update it

There must be a problem with my phone, but I see many people do not notice any changes with the update.
