Hi @Wolfman1, welcome to our forum!
There are two ways of taking a screen shot.
1. Press and hold the power button > tap on "Take screenshot"
2. Press and hold the power button and volume down at the same time.
The first option is the easier one to use, however the second option is better if you need to take a screenshot when you have the notifications open and so on, as these will close down when you use option one.
