There are many apps available, it just needs a quick search of store. So typing notepad into the play store search bought up a number of apps, are they what you're after? No idea that's something for you to decide

there is no Microsoft office software for Tablets.
There is 3rd party software to open, view etc. office documents, with basic-edit functions even.

But is there anything like a 'notepad' on the tablet. Plus i wanted to know if there was perhaps an app for art where i can draw on it?

I just use google apps for it.For my business, I needed to know IT languages. I started to learn them, and after one year I wanted to pass the IT exam. I used MW, PowerPoint for preparing and education, but much more I was helped by these guys SPOTOclub.com who offer online IT certification training. I think that they are really good and trusted company to deal with because they have already served more than 20,000,000 customers. They helped me a lot. And if you have free time, you can check out this site for more interesting info!
