Hi All,
I bought my Sony HT-A9000 soundbar around 8 months ago, connected with my Bravia TV and SW5 subwoofer. It worked fine for the first few months, but recently it developed a serious issue:
The white indicator light flashes constantly.
When this happens, the soundbar becomes completely unresponsive.
It does not connect via Bluetooth, HDMI, or the Bravia Connect app.
Factory reset attempts do not respond at all.
I’ve already sent the unit to Sony’s authorised service centre twice. Both times they reported “no fault found”, but the problem came back immediately when I tested it at home.
What makes this more frustrating is that Sony Customer Service keeps telling me to return it to the service centre again, even though this clearly hasn’t solved anything. I’ve provided photos, videos, and even requested escalation, but my concerns are being ignored.
My questions to the community:
Has anyone else experienced this issue with the HT-A9000?
If so, did you manage to find a real solution?
What else can I do to get Sony to actually take this problem seriously?
Is there a direct way to raise a complaint with Sony management? I honestly cannot find one, which is insane for a company of this size.
Any help or advice would be really appreciated.
