XAV-AX205DB car audio does not play MP3 disks

I recently bought this on the understanding that it played MP3 disks but when I inserted one, it said 'Data not available'.  Has anyone else had this problem?  Is there a solution?  Many thanks, James

Did you check the Playable Discs section of the Manual? (page 18)
