Why don`t the buttons on my Sony Walkman NWZ-E443 work.

When I press the play/pause button it skips to the next song and when I press the Back button it pauses the song. Also I can`t access the Home menu. Please help as it`s driving me mad!

Hi hulynch,

All sounds a bit odd doesn't it?  I would try a reset of the unit using the pin hole on the rear of the unit to start with.  I also notice that there's a firmware update (v1.01) avaialble for the E443 on Sony's website, so if a reset doesn't solve the problem this might also be worth a go (the link to the firmware update is below):

Can't think of anything else worth trying, so if no joy from the above I would consider getting the unit checked out.

Hi there Drumzman, thanks for your reply but I have done everything that you said but it is still the same. I guess that I'll wait a day or two to see if anybody else has any suggestions and if not then I'll have to see about igetting it checked out at a Sony dealership.
