Sony WF1000XM4 Battery Drains Too Fast (Left Earbud)
Hi, I’ve these earbuds for almost a year now and absolutely love them.
Howevere after the latest update the left earbud started draining like crazy! I haven’t changed any settings. Also the right one drains faster than before but compare dto the left one it’s noticeable slower. Please see the screenshots attached. Look at the clock it’s not even 60 min of usage:

Also same issue, 16 months after purchase.
Right earbud significantly deteriated over the space of less than a fortnight - virtually unusable now.
Did all the resetting/reinitialising as well as uninstalling/resinstalling app (2.0.1) just for good measure.
Thing is, I really love these earbuds and won't be upgrading to the M5 because I'm unconvinced this hasn't been fixed.
I too do not see why I should be expected to be charged to send the headphones back to Sony for repair.
Judging by general search results, Sony have clearly been aware of this for some time.
In fact, due to the manner and lack of any acceptance with this issue, I will be avoiding Sony products in the future.
Shame really...

I also have the same problem. Right side dead after half an hours use.

Sony have been covering up this issue for some time now, and they will
charge you an arm and a leg for a replacement.
Instead, what I did is purchase a battery online and fixed the issue
myself. There are a few decent YouTube videos on how to do this. Or another
alternative is to buy a right bud from Ebay, where the sellers are making a
tidy profit from doing this themselves. The battery replacement, however is
quite simple to do and is the cheaper alternative.
Good luck!
