sony mex bt2900 problem setting up preset dialing

hi... i have a sony bt2900 bluetooth audio car system .paird with a i phone.i have been trying to set up my preset dialing ,but not sure what to do when the instructions say (send phonebook data from phone ) ?? . can anyone help me with this

Once you have done steps 1 & 2 have you tried selecting the desired number on your phone and dialing it, you may want to try this with your home number first..:smileywink:

I just answed this on a higher up thread, you have to send the contact to the unit like you would send the contact to another phone using bluetooth, the head unit recieves this as a .vcf contact card and associates it with the button (its quite a strange way of working).
