It works fine as a USB flash. I tried formatting it, updated the firmware to 1.3, copied the Autotransfer file. The on/off button is not responsive. I read something about the chip driver from packard bell but i'm not sure. I know it's an older model, but i'd really like to see it up and running again.
I encountered same problem. It functioned as a USB flash disc and it showed battery full too. But each time it was unplugged from the USB port, it did not work. After my disassembling it for checking (I am an electronics engineer), the internal li-polymer battery was found dried & dead (maybe lifetime problem). I then replaced it with a new one and now it works again.
