Hi khalil1,
I suspect that this might have something to do with the way that you have the GT210 wired up. It's possible that as well as the CD always starting from the beginning each time you switch on, if you have any radio stations stored, they might disappear and need storing again, plus the clock might reset to midnight each time?
On Sony car stereos there are actually two power leads that should be connected to the 12volt power - a red wire and a yellow wire. Ideally these should be connected as follows: the red wire should be connected so that 12 volts is only supplied when the car is switched on. The yellow wire should be connected so that 12 volts is supplied permanently - in other words even when the car is switched off. It is this permanent supply that maintains the memories on the unit for things like the clock, your radio presets, and most importantly for you, where you left off when playing a CD.
On some cars the permament and switched 12 volt supplies are the opposite way round to others. However the Sony wiring on the back of your unit should allow for this. You should find that a short way along the red and yellow wires is a connection which allows you to reverse the connections - so that red connects to yellow, and yellow to red instead of matching up (see picture below). This might be all you need to do to sort the problem.
If that doesn't work, then I'd probably get a specialist car audio dealer to check your car's wiring as they will be able to test for where there is a permanent and switched 12 volt feed.
Hope that helps.
