Taking a screenshot of the image on the Walkman is possible. I know this because I achieved it accidentally. Once captured the resultant file is stored on the Walkman, and can be accessed via PC when connected to the USB cable.
I'd really like to know how to do this, again. I can't find any instructions online nor in the instruction manual for my Walkman.
Thanks in advance~
Solved! Go to Solution.
That's very easy,
First press and release "+"
Then press and release "-"
And finally press and hold "0/1" until the warning popup & voilà 😃
Hi @U2Joshua,
I could imagine, you need to hold down the power button and it will give you an option for that.
At least that is the case on my Sony smartphone - I could imagine it is the same for your Walkman.
Another option would be the volume rocker and the power button.

Thank you, @IamNic.
I've tried both those methods, as they are listed as instructions for screencapture on some Sony devices other than my particular Walkman.
Unfortunately, neither of those methods are working for me.
Hi @U2Joshua,
I will do some research and if I myself can't find the solution, I will forward it to support so they can have a look at their more detailed documentation.

Thanks for the response, @Sonyvores, but this is not working.
When I press and release "+" volume increases
When I press and release "-" volume decreases (nothing more)
I'm not sure what you mean by pressing "0/1". There are no numerical options on the screen, nor any buttons as such.
Hi @U2Joshua,
0/1 is the on-/off-button (Power button). The symbol on there is a binary 0 (off) combined with a binary 1 (on).
You may have some switches on lights (or other devices) which have a 0 on one side and a 1 on the other side of the switch.

Thank you! Yes. This does work 🙂
I was missing the 0/1 being the "Power" button.
Many thanks to all who helped.
On the NW-A40 series have to press and hold in on off button.
1) While holding on off 1/0 standby or whatever
2) Press + volume then release +
3) Press - volume then release -
4) Connect up to pc via cable
5) Look for F drive and should be a jpeg file of screen print.
