Hello,
after a few month of using a headphone Sony MDR-RF4000 I have batteries problemes.
It's written on the headphone that you cannot charge other battery than the supplied batteries.
Does somebody know which kind of batteries will match with this device.
I've allready try with Ni-Mh 850mAh and it does'nt work.
You can buy them, but they are very expensive. It look like the printer market.
Fixe the client.
Bye
Hi toto1000,
welcome to Questions & Answers..:smileyhappy:
If you've only been using your headphones for a couple of months & are noticing battery problems I would suggest contacting the retailer..:smileywink:
Hello,
thanks for your answer but the warranty is out.
I'm looking for a cheapper solution.
There is a switch in the headphone to avoid charging not rechargable batteries.
I shunted it, but it doesnt work.
I suppose the device is locked and it work only with one kind of batteries.
Which kind, and why?
best regard
Hi toto1000,
as far as I am aware your headphones can use either rechargeable NMhi batteries or standard AAA..
From what you posted above it may be possible that the switch to decide which type of battery to use may be jammed or broken..:smileysad:
May be worth popping into your local sony shop & see if they will offer any assistance..
