WE have a Vaio VGN-S1HP and suddenly the computer does not recognize when the wireless switch is on to connect to the wireless LAN even though it does switch bluetooth devices on.
In another forum, the following solution was posted but I cannot find the Smart Network Icon anywhere...:
"THE SOLUTION
Go to the VAIO Smart Network icon in the system tray and right click and select show main window. Left click on the WLAN button. Wireless connectivity restored."
