Wireless LAN Starter - PROBLEM

Hi guys,

I'm new here I bought my first Vaio a VGNSZ2VP.

My problem is to setup the wireless LAN.
When I click on the Wireless LAN Starter and then Start (then it starts to check the wireless start settings) but then I get the message I should slide the Wireless LAN switch to ON... but it IS on ON...

What to do?

Appriciate all help I can get!

take a look at the manual. it may help in establishing a connection.

Hi Yonaz,

Have you checked that the wireless LAN is illuminated, also have you checked in Network Connections that the Wireless Network Connection is enabled..

I have also attached the user manual as page 68 may offer further solutions..:smileyhappy:

Hello my new friends!

Yes the Wireless LAN is illuminating and the Network Connection is enabled.
Yes I have read the manual allthough it didn't give -me- anything...

I was hoping for a step to step help or something [:">]

I have had both IBM and Dell laptops and they have worked perfectly without any manual adjustments...

To not be able to connect to the Internet is really frustrating and force me to still use my old Dell mashine!
