Windows Hangs after updating

My VGN-NR10E/S LAPTOP runs Vista Home Premium +SP2. Yesterday after installing some updates I tried to reboot but it hung on the "closing down" screen. Eventually I forced it off by holding down the power button. It seems OK now. Is this a common problem?

Hi,

All PCs hang unpredictably on occasions so everything is probably OK.

Just keep an eye open for any other unpredictable behaviour.
