Have you tried going to the mouse properties and checking the box "Disable Tapping when Typing"?
Has it always done this or is it only recently?
Do you use an external mouse? If so, you may be able to disable the touchpad.
It may be worth reinstalling the Touchpad Driver. However, the most common cause is a hardware fault where any pressure on the palmrest or keyboard causes a small flexing which shows the problem - the only answer if this is the cause is a repair.
