WHERE IS KPAC.EXE FILE?

Hello!

I'm trying to find "kpac.exe" unpack tool in Internet and there isn't there.

Can you tell me where I can find it?
It's the same program "kpac.exe" than "kcap.exe"?

Thanks!

kcap.exe doesn't work for me.

I've tried all the steps in the page but there is no result.

Any ideas?

Hi JGU,

What are trying to use "kcap.exe" for, are you trying to access your apps disc or have you copied the contents to your hard drive?

It worked admirably for me on my RZ502 restore disks.

If you have a recent model maybe Sony got wise to this "trick".

Thanks!

I'm trying to use it for unpack SONY.PAC, SONY2.PAC, ... files in my DVD recovery apps. I see this procedure in another thread in this forum, and I think it would be interesting test the procedure to solve future problems, but it don't work for me. I've tried to unpack the files from the DVD to the hard disk and copying SONY.PAC to hd and trying to unpack directly from there, without result.

My VAIO model is a recent A617S (european or spanish model).

Any more ideas?
Thanks!
