Hi Forum,
Since 2 days I have a VAIO VGN-FW31J.
What did I do since:
- installed Adobe Photoshop 4.0
- uninstalled McAffee and installed Avast virusscanner and ZoneAlarm firewall
- configured ireless netwerk
- installed MS Office 2007 Professional
I worked with this software and my new mouse V550 Nano from Logitech without problems for 2 days.
I installed LimeWire 5.0 and iTunes and connected an iPod Nano. The mouse and iPod worked together fine for a while and I could drag some music to the iPod. After a few minutes I got Windows-messages that the computer could not recognize a USB-driver. The mouse stopped working, so I worked further with the keypad. But even when I disconnected the mouse-USB-wireless-adapter, I still got the same messages. Even when I disconnected the iPod. I restarted the system and right before closing I got a BSOD (blue screen). After that I shutted down the laptop completely, and started up again. The problem occurred as soon as I connected the iPod. Then again a BSOD when shutting down.
The tried to start it up again, but now it doesn’t do anything. I just get a black screen (the screen is on), no start-logo’s, text, anything.
Are there known problems of the VGN-FW31J in combination with the iPod Nano? Or in combination with the Logitech V550 ?
Regards Roy
