VGC LN1M - Screen dead? No boot?

Hi all,

I have a VGC LN1M which is 6 weeks old...and refused to start this morning. I think it may be the monitor - it just stays off, even though the fans run, the BD drive tries to start etc.

But no lights come on at bottom of the display, so I suppose it could be a power problem. Any one else had a problem with this PC?

have you pressed the display off button to the left of the power button.

If not luck then I suggest you contact contact Sony Vaio support, you can do this either by phone or via e-Support, use the following link to find the contact details: Sony Vaio Support

Mine is doing exactly the same, fan comes on but no display and frustratingly the keyboard won't connect so can't do a proper reboot and stop whatever is 'freezing' it.
Did you get a solution?
