Hey Guys..

I can see a few vertical lines on the right hand side of my screen (currently there are 4 and in different colours, see attached screenshot). Has anyone else experienced this problem and found a solution? Please let me know.

Call Sony to report this as some models have developed a fault with Nvidia Graphics Units. If found to be an Nvidia fault they will repair free of charge. Just had mine picked up today

Hi imranv,

Sadly your graphics adapter probably pre-dates any of the recent nVidia problems and as you are out of warranty I would try a few other things first.

Are the lines always the same colour and always in the same place?
Are the lines always there during the boot sequence before you see the Windows Login screen?

1. If the answer is NO to both of these questions then try installing a more up to date nVidia driver - your existing one may be corrupt.
2. If YES and NO then suspect a driver as above or a nVidia chip hardware problem.
3. If YES and YES then your screen may have a hardware problem and needs checking.
