I want to disable the internal wireless on my laptop and use an external (PCMCIA) adapter using Wireless-N. Can anyone guide me on how to do this ?

Hi mescom.
I think you just need to keep the wireless switch turned off, but to make sure I would go to Device Manager -> Network Adapters and find your Wireless Card. Right-click on it and choose "Disable".
Depending on the PCMCIA card you choose, you may need to load the drivers from the CD even if you intend to use Windows to connect.
