Using the power adapter for sony VGN-CR19VN/B

Hi , I bough my laptop sony in uk & I am moving to Canada , now can I use the same adapter ? do they use the same electricty as uk ?pls help .

All Sony power adaptors that I have encountered are rated between AC 100v – 240v, 50 – 60 Hz. As Canada uses 110v, 60 HZ there shouldn’t be a problem but check that your adaptor states AC 100v – 240v, 50 – 60 Hz.
