Solid State Memory....?

Hi
Just got an aw very expensive thing with a big old solid state disk. Problem is it's virtually full already and every program defaults to storing stuff on it. Is there a way i can re direct all the saving and even move the location of programs enirely to the other 500gb drive, without it cocking it all up completely. Also having the same issues connecting to the wireles router as others. When it goes to sleep mode, it doesn't reconnect. Just a tad annoying when you blow a fair bit on an expensive internet browser!

Hi woodenman,

welcome to Club VAIO..

Depending on the disc space occupied by your My Documents folder, a possible quick solution would be to change the default location of your My Documents folder, use the following guide for help on the procedure:

Click Start and then right click on Documents and then click Properties.

In the Document properties window click the location tab then click on Move.

In the destination box select a location on your D drive for your Documents folder and then click Select Folder

Finally click on OK followed by Yes to confirm.
