RX1 memory upgrade

Can I upgrade my RX1 from 256mb to 512mb by removing all the memory from the slots, then inserting the two blanks and putting 2x 256mb into one bank?

Don't see any problems with that as long as you buy the correct type of memory.

RDRAM is very expensive :slight_frown:

About £150 when I last looked to take my RX1 to 512mb. Why did Sony have to use RDRAM?

Now the price is very low just because of the world crisis.
You know what I mean :smileyrolling_eyes:
I found 512 mb for 171 ¬uro.

The US Dollar is low.

It's the time to make business

But I hope the war won't be. :smileyrolling_eyes:

And don't forget that the RamBus profit from a band-width broader than DDR

PS:smileygrin:on't pay attention to mistakes

It works

I have now 768 Gb (256+512 it's enough)
