REMOTE CONTROL

I would like to use my SONY remote control with Windows Media player, as apposed to Sonic stage etc...This does not work! I have looked in the Remote Control Option's but it only allows you to change some very simple option's is there a utility which allows you to change the Key assignemts or mappings of the remote control?

What remote are you using? I wasn't aware you could get a remote to work with Media Player. Some programs come with add ons to let you use remotes, others do not, and I would doubt Media Player would let you. I think you can do it with WinAmp, may be wrong though.

Apparently Media Player doesn't allow you to do that.
Only XP Media Center Edition has that feature.
