i#ve add a ram module to my vaio rx and the sytem
crashes.
the ram: pc2100 512 mb ddr266/184pin
in the vaio is allready a pc2700 256mb
samung module.
any ideas?

btw. is is the second module that i am trying..... 
pc2700 & pc2100 won't work side by side 
They run at different speeds and will cause problems as you have found out.
You may want to check whether your motherboard accepts PC2700 RAM in the first place
