Problems with video card - updating MB bios.

I have a new Matrox Parhelia video card for my PCV-RX201. No video output is being sent to either monitor (its a dual monitor card) at bootup - in fact it beeps: one long, 3 short.

Matrox support think it is faulty but want me to update the BIOS just to be sure. I've seen messages here that say check vaio-link and if there are any, that's where they will be. Can someone confirm that that is in fact the case. I've spent hours searching the ASUS website looking for something but the motherboard isn't listed. I've looked on vaio-link and can't find anything but is that because nothing's there or because I'm looking in the wrong place

If you go to www.vaio-link.com and enter as a vaio user then any BIOS updates will be in the download area. If there isn't an update there then there isn't one available

Thanks - there aren't any. I suspect that's because Sony can't be bothered to keep these things upto date - especially the older machines.
