Playing Blu Ray on VGN-AR61ZU

Hi,
I have a lovely Vaio, apart from the fact that vista is not so stable I do like it, however, I have just started trying to play Blu Ray discs. Win DVD has stopped working, power DVD is asking me for money !!

Can anyone suggest a good (preferably free) Blu Ray player? I am willing to buy a player if necessary but it's a bit frustrating that I cant just play the discs - I wish I'd bought standard old fashion DVD's instead now !!!!

yes, when I try to play a disc, windvd actually stops ans the application closes.

now I get a message saying that my dvd player needs an update to play the disc. and 20th century fox is not responsible for the websites of player manufactures.

Blu Ray just seems like more hassle than it is worth.

I cant understand why this is so damn difficult, I appreciate posters help but sony has basically sold me something that doesnt really work. I dont think I will ever buy another Vaio
