hi there.
after many years i've decided to upgrade the memory. i've read it's possible to reach a maximum of 1gb ddram using 2 x 512mb ddram. i was wondering if it's possible to put in 2x 1gb ddram? plus do you know who is the cheapest seller in the UK?

Hi Scott,

according to the specifications your vaio can only support a maximum of 1GB RAM, therefore, as you already have 2x512mb installed, I wouldn't recommend installing any more..

Try Crucial.com . They are not necessarily the cheapest but they do guarantee compatibility and the quality is excellent.
