Norton Ghost

Hi

I would like to know ,if I use Norton Ghost to insert the frame of my old disc in the new one .
Will I loose all files on the disc even if I let a place (20 Go) for the frame in the first partition?

Thank you for reply

P.S:smileygrin:on't pay attention to mistakes

I'm not too sure what you mean by that, however I do know that Ghost basically wipes your drive when it puts an image on, although I'm not sure how it copes with partitions as I've never used ti with partitions before. One way to find out!!

Ok thank you chuck so I'd rather to let the new disc blank if I don't want to loose my files

Cutee,

You'd have to do a backup of all the files that are not in the ghost image, but you want to keep. Then you can put the ghost image on the hard disk and copy back the files you want to keep.
